At Quality Driving School of Virginia our Behind The Wheel is second to none. We teach adults and teens from all different backgrounds. Our instructors have years of experience and are DMV certified and have passed an FBI Background check. They are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and DO NOT YELL! All instructors understand and speak English. (Virginia road signs are in English and need to be understood in English for your safety.) To receive your Driver’s License in Virginia if you are under the age of 18 you, must hold a learners permit for 9 months, complete a Driver’s Education class, do 45 hours of drive time with parents (15 of the 45 at night) and a Behind The Wheel course.
How Behind The Wheel Works
Behind The Wheel consist of 7 lessons. Each lesson is 50 minutes of driving and 50 minutes of observing another student drive. That is two 50 minute periods each time they go out totaling 14 periods. Upon successful completion of the seventh lesson we will issue the Driver’s License. This License is good for a period of 6 months from the eligibility date. Within a 90 day period of us issuing the students license, they should receive a court date. At this court date they will turn in the license we gave them and the Learner's Permit. The judge will tell them the responsibilities of have a Driver's License. Then he/she will give them the hard copy license.

Behind The Wheel Pricing
Required (In Car Course) to Achieve Drive's License: $375.00
Private lessons for adults and teens: 6 hour package $425.00 or $75.00 an hour

$75.00
If you have signed up with the office this is to hold the spot. The Deposit is non-refundable without our consent. The remaining $300. is due on the first pick up. It can be check or money order. Thank you.

This is for the full payment of Behind The Wheel. (This includes the $75. deposit). If lessons are cancelled by the customer before starting, a refund of $300. will be given. (Less $75. deposit fee.) Please Do Not Make Payment Until You Sign Up With The Office First. Thank you.
